Dear Friends.
It is with the deepest sorrow that we must communicate to you that the crash of the presidential plane in Smolensk, Russia, has claimed the lives of Mr. Lech Kaczyński, President of the Republic of Poland, the First Lady and 94 other top Polish politicians, high ranking military officials and leaders of the public life and church.
The Lutheran Military Chaplaincy in Poland has thus lost the Rev. Col. Adam Pilch, deputy of the military bishop of the LMC. He left behind a wife and daughter.
The funeral service of Rev. Adam Pilch will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 9.30 local time(GMT + 2:00) in Warszawa, Puławska Street 2 .
